Starting on rt10/manning hill rd in Winchester, NH, Pulpit falls trail past the falls and follow powerlines until an old dirt road bends right and becomes a trsil with s metal trail sign of a hiker, red and then blue. An old wooden sign directs you : on the left is Birch Point and the resevior, to the right accends Hogback mountain. You will come to a point with a semi obscured view, seems like a peak, which quickly decends and then accends again within a few hundred feet, much steeper to the summit of Hogback.
