Solo. From Hill of Garvock viewpoint on B9120. On the summit is a tower built of sandstone. I climbed the spiral stairs inside to the top although near the top a few steps are missing and you have to step across a large drop. According to the history tablet this is the Johnston Tower built by a local MP using left over stones from the building of his house and to celebrate the victory over Napoleon in the Peninsula War.
