Went down the VA side of Rt. 160 from Black Mt. KY to this Wise County (and Cumberland Mt. range) H.P. since it was a short distance away. The late afternoon sun made the autumn colors really pop while driving on this bluebird day. The 5-6K ridge along the NC/TN border was even visible from the observation tower.
