You can start your hike either at Ausserberg or at Eggerberg. Then you follow the beautiful Baltschiedertal as far as Martischipfa. There you keep right and hike up the mountain path that leads to the "Ehemaliges Bergwerk". Turn left at about 2280 to follow the "white-blue-white" marked path to the Baltschiederklause.
