I arrived at the Moffat tunnel at 5:15am and started hiking up the South Boulder Creek trail. I hit snow about 1/2 mile up the trail and it was continuous up to Heart Lake (glad I brought the snowshoes). Rogers Pass was mostly snow-free and then completely clear up along the Continental Divide. From Heartbeat Peak I continued on to Sprint Peak and Frosty Mountain. I descended to Arapaho Lakes, popped over the ridge to Crater Lakes, and rejoined the trail back to the trailhead.
