From the main car park in Widdecombe-in-the-Moor. I took the lane west, and then the track up the east flank of the hill, then north along the ridge to the summit. i continued on to Hameldon Tor 529m, and then a loop around the head of the West Wedburn valley, taking in Birch Tor 487m/35m and Challacombe Down 463m/40m. A road walk south on the quiet lane brought me to the end of the track of my outward route, and so back over the south shoulder of Hameldown to my starting point. Solo.
