Finally submitted Haelkop (Guardian Peak) on my 3rd attempt. First attempt we got lost in long grass up Soysiesbos ravine. Second time I came back to navigate the Haelkop Step (section between the saddle and the 'Koppie' along the ridgeline to Haelkop). We did a circular route, bundu bashing and finding old paths down the Stellenboschberg side of the mountain.
