On a visit to Frankfurt am Main. Solo. Took U-Bahn and bus to Sandplacken. Walked from Sandplacken to the summit of Grosßer Feldberg. Not much of an achievement as there is a bus stop on the summit area. Went up numerous steps up a tower on the summit only to find I had ascended into thick mist so I had no view at all. Continued to Altkönig, which does require effort to get up, before walking out to Königstein im Taunus railway station.
