didn't finish the summit to Mt Greenock - only made it to Greenock Mtn. About the 2nd time ever in my life turned around - once cus I badly sprained my ankle 2 mi into a mountain hike & it was so bad I literally couldn't walk on it & then this time cus I thought it was gonna be a little 5 mi hike to enjoy at the end of my day in the park & that would be gentle on my broken toe, knee injury & 2 other major chronic injuries that were exacerbated by these 2 new recent injuries. I was wrong. It was a steep climb (literally climb) on trail-less mountainside that would have taken me a lot longer than expected & I needed to make it back down safely to get my nephew. Gorgeous views. Will attempt again when I'm not recovering from an acute injury and have a little more time to enjoy. Be mindful there are bear tracks and lots of scat and animal bones & it's a remote peak not often hiked. Bring spray and a horn or bell.
