With a friend. From Beatenburg where were excellent views of the Bernese Alps (Mönch etc). We took the cable car to Niederhorn. We walked to the summit of Niederhorn and along the ridge NE going over Burgfeldstand and Güggisgrat to Gemmenalphorn (2067m). We went on to Oberberg and Hinterstberg. Here we had a drink. We had planned to climb up to the ridge on the NW side of Justistal but realised we did not have enough time. We had started rather late in the day. We therefore walked down Justistal and so round to Beatenberg. Weather was warm and dry.
