Solo walk. From the carpark at the SE end of Llanuwchllyn. Ascended the north ridge of Aran Fawddwy. Followed rights of way out of Llanuwchllyn. My OS 1:25,000 map showed the path up the ridge leaving the public right of way on the west side of Garth Fach. However, there was a sign at a gate on the north side of Garth Fach indicating the ridge path went through the gate. I followed this and it went round the east side of Garth Fach and quite close to the summit. I went up the short deviation to the summit, before continuing on the ridge path. Made another deviation to reach the summit of Garth Fawr. Continued to Aran Fawddwy.
