The plan was to hike the Kinsmans for some redlining, but the rivers were swollen from the heavy rain the day before. So I quickly did Galehead. Helped out a Croo member by lending her my poles so she could cross the river. We hiked together for a ways. We also spotted a moose, which at that point, she offered me soup at the Hut. We separated, and I summited Galehead. Rested at the Hut, got my curried vegetable soup. Also there, was one of the folks from the YM Retreat back in May. She recognized me first. We chatted awhile before I went on my way. An unexpectedly awesome day. 10.6 mi.
