From New Radnor, skirting round bottom of Whimble on PB crossing stream at Harley Dingle, then continuing on a steady rise up the east side of this hill, then once reaching the danger sign (the whole area to the north is a firing range) cutting up onto flat expanse, and heading south to high point. This on OS maps is marked as 533 metres and is not the point marked on the peakery map, which is a slightly lower prominence, a little further south east. Visited both points. The actual summit is deep in the heather and whinberry bushes.
Lots of sheep, thus lots of sheep shit, thus lots of flies made this a little unpleasant. Saw quite a few rabbits which were unusually docile and not particularly perturbed by my presence. Either the heat or disease, I think. I hope the former but fear the latter.
Returned by same route.
