Started out around 6:30 AM while determined to get an early morning summit in. Managed to do it in good time without diminishing my daily plans. Great cool weather made for an excellent visit. I Had thoughts of ascending NE and NW Frenchman Mountains, which are separated by the dirt road I was hiking on and were on the way to Frenchman Mountain. Unfortunately, I had no time to do them, which would have padded my numbers for the day. Both looked attainable from my vantage point with some off trail scrambling.
