Couldn’t get anyone to come along with me so I finally went out on my own. Drove out to Chilliwack and up Foley Ck FSR. Parked at the trailhead to Williamson Lake and started hiking at 6:45pm. Made it to the lake in 50 minutes. Set up camp and enjoyed the evening. Brilliant starry sky that night. Woke up just before sunrise and had breakfast in bed as I watched the sun hit the peaks across the valley. Started hiking at 7am and was in the shade all the way up to the col. summited Foley at 8:45am. What an amazing weekend. Clean and clear views all around. Spent a good hour up there relaxing and watching others summiting Welch. Headed down and came across several others heading up to Foley. Back at the car by noon.
