I started out this mtb trip at 10 AM and slowly made the climb on the road to "Flag Pole Hill" aka Patriots Hill. The ride up the road was pretty boring but it had the occasional views and wildflowers. We went on a side trail for nice views of the surrounding hillsides. Then after that we summited Flag Pole Hill (Patriot's Hill). It had a summit dedication plaque, a summit flag, a summit register (mailbox), and a nice view of Dana Point and San Juan Capistrano. I then went up to Peak 880 Peak (Dad's Peak), which had no views and only a bench at the top. After that I continued down the trail to Reiker's Point which had okay views towards Dana Point. The I went down and then went back home.
