Chili day, 20°F at the trailhead. Opted to skip the class 4 slabs for concern about ice/snow in the shade. Sure enough we found plenty of it on the north side. Classic south side descent through the calico red canyon. Breezy at the peak, otherwise quite a pleasant hike.
