From a lay-by on the mountain road at SN 82585 56236. I walked west on the road to start of forest track at SN 81931 56405. I then followed it round to a junction with a grassier track at SN 82293 57032. Leaving this track, I headed north along the firebreak at SN 82301 57172. This is wide at first, but more overgrown as it heads east from SN 82231 57361. I followed this to a gap in the trees at SN 82462 57444. I pushed through to ditch at SN 82485 57399. A few metres further on is another ditch. I headed right along this for about 20m and the summit clearing came into view. I returned the same way.
