I spent 5 years in the South of Cameroon as a volunteer school administrator and English teacher--1995 - 2000. "Ebolboum" is the hill that looms over the nearest city to where I lived. My African friends had never been to the top, but they were willing to help me get there. Local women made their fields on the mountainside, using "slash-and-burn" farming techniques. We just followed their farm paths all the way up from the neighborhood called "Ebolowa-Si." As I recall there were radio towers at the top and a road that we didn't know about.

Route to summit

We followed agricultural garden-paths in an upward direction all the way to the top.
