A full waterproofs walk today from Meldon reservoir car park in driving drizzle and eventually rain too. Following the path around the lake and up the West Okement valley to Lints Tor for a spot of lunch before heading up into the low cloud base at Dinger Tor and picking up the military tracks. Followed these all the way down between West Mill and Row Tor before climbing Black Down. Headed west along the ridge line and then followed the stone wall of Meldon Quarry down to Meldon Pool before ascending the permissive path to Meldon viaduct. Followed track and then reservoir road back to finish. 16.8km. Overcast and raining. Solo.
