I was pleased to get another peak in today, especially after striking out on 4 previous peaks in Santee. Peak 1102, Peak 921, Rattlesnake Mountain, and Peak 1198 are all on private property. After driving to each one by one, I was thrilled to see that Dictionary Hill was open to the public. A neighborhood wraps around the base of the hill, but the upper slopes are left alone. I formed a loop hike by taking a use trail up and taking the dirt road back down. Great views from the summit.
