Otterburn was always that place you never wanted to go when on military exercise. It was always wet !! The area is beautiful though, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to see it, even though I was cold, wet and tired most of the time. Most of the hills in the UK I have summited, have been due to military training. Live firing ranges, signals excercise's or playing enemy for guys on courses or simulating fire fights and setting up ambushes. All great times in great areas.
