To Wrynose Pass top. We followed the path from 3 shire stone to east side of Red Tarn, and on to Crinkle Crags South Summit. Between this and the North Summit are a few feet of scrambling (which can be avoided to the West). Arrived at North Summit and had lunch just beyond. We were heading West until by compass and sight we realised my error. Continued along ridge path to Three Tarns. Went down path on the Band to Dungeon Ghyll Old Hotel and had refreshments. By track behind hotel down valley, then joining the track on south side of Mill Gill to Stickle Tarn. Erected tent.
