Hopped out of the car and ran north up the AT on a frigid late autumn morning. Brilliant sunshine, but def could have used a warm-up. Although views abound through the winter forest, there is little view at the peak. Peaking through the trees are Sharp Top and Flat Top of the Peaks of Otter range.
