With two friends. From Spittal of Glenmuick. On tracks to Allt-na-guibhsaich then NE and N. On emerging from forest near Allt Vitch went up the east ridge of Conachcraig/Caisteal na Caillich over Càrn an Daimh. Went to summit of Caisteal na Caillich first before continuing to Conachcraig. Descended SW to join track back to Spittal of Glenmuick. A bright sunny day, cold but little wind. Excellent views of snow covered Lochnagar and the peaks to the north of the River Dee.
