Parked at Pont ar Elan (SN 90307 71540) and took the Monks Trod byway up the wide ridge. First 3km were good going, but rougher higher up. Left the byway about 800m from the summit using ATV tracks through the grass to the top. Returned much the same way, but visited the top of Clawdd du-bach on the way down. Mainly sunny, but one short hail-shower brought in on a cold NW wind.
