This was a rigorous hike along the Mohawk-Mahican Trail. First up a no-name peak which was fairly steep, then down into a ravine and then up Clark Mountain. For the most part the trails were wide and in good shape. Down in the ravine there was a huge treefall, many trees blocking the path and had to skirt around through thick undergrowth--not too fun. Trail up Clark was narrow but clear. Steep in places. No view from the top of Clark. Felt very remote. Interesting area.
