Clockwise circuit from Fersit. Left the main Fersit farm track at the loop where the Corrour path takes off (signpost). A useful farmers argocat track was followed straight uphill for about 2km. As this track deteriorated I cut off left on a direct pathless line to Meall Chaorach (Simm and Corbett top) without dropping pace courtesy of a nice steady gradient on generally dry medium grass and heather. Continuing round there’s an obvious path from Chno Dearg to top Meall Garbh, which has two cairns to visit. The quick direct line to the next col is generally pathless; there’s a lochan here not marked on maps. Regained the main path on to Stob Coire Sgriodains south top with it’s cairn of pure white quartzite. Enjoyed one hour on the Munro summit (celebrating a friend’s 2nd compleation) in unforecast warm sunshine before heading down
