Not the best trail choice for a warm morning in June. The first mile of the trail runs along Pisgah Reservoir and I encountered more mosquitoes than I remember in my life! The bug spray was non-effective. I got tired of them & ran for the last .75 miles of today's approx. 4 mile hike, trying to keep them away. Other than that, a steep hike half the time to the summit. One nice vista at the reservoir and interesting ruins as well.
