I wanted to try an early-season ascent of Charlie since it was a low snow year. We took Trail Canyon to North Loop, then took the class 4 Devil's Thumb shortcut to the summit. Luckily, even though there was some snow on the DT climb, it didn't impede our progress. It was extremely windy all day, with crazy gusts near the summit, but we made it happen. We took South Loop down and did a bit of glissading.
