Start/finish at Sand Beach. Hiked with a group of 4. The Beehive is such a fun trail (though not for the faint of heart). Adding the Champlain Mountain summit adds to the sense of accomplishment of the hike, since the Beehive is such a short trail. In the late summer you can probably go swimming at the end - in June the water was still too cold for me!
