"Day out on my own to bag this peak. nabbed the perfect parking spot at the start of the trail for a bimble into the clouds. The views were not in my favour today but it was still a lovely walk. Followed the forest track on the way up to collect an old geocache but took the more direct route on the way down.
Nothing to see at the top as the mist and cloud was firmly in place at the summit but nevertheless a lovely walk" — charliegill • Mar 17, 2024
"Nice easy walk from our lodging in Keswick,The Cumbria House. Recent rains made the footing a bit wet and muddy. Wonderful views of the area for a short climb. Dropped down toward the lake and popped into a hotel restaurant for a pint and sandwich." — Nimblefoot • Sep 28, 2023
"Short hike from the road to the west after parking in small area just off road slightly to north of path. First through a bit of wood and then up following a stream to the top." — vygodski • Sep 25, 2023
"I've climbed this peak before on my micro-navigation course but to count for our Wainwright log the kids have to do the hike as well. We were staying at YHA Keswick so did this one on the way home." — charliegill • Aug 23, 2023
"21/1/2023
Six more winter Wainwrights done today! Cloudy and a stiff cold wind as far as High Seat, then the sun appeared. Ground still fairly firm after a week of frost and snow, so feet remained dry again. Accompanied by Susan and Peg the dog." — johnandsue4fun • Jan 21, 2023
