"The loop hike to the top of Hesten and back via the ridge between Hesten and Segla has some of the most spectacular views I’ve had the opportunity to witness. It felt like looking at the granite walls of Yosemite Valley, but surrounded on all sides by the sea. Senja island is a very special place. For a short 2 hour hike this really delivers! Note that some of the sections would probably be considered class 2-3 scrambling in the US: you need to use your hands in place and a slip can be fatal." — danishclimber • Jul 31, 2022
