"Trailrun with a friend up Peak Mountain (least original name ever). A short spur from the Montara Mountain Fire Road gets you to this summit with pano ocean views. It's so green out right now, best time of the year. Definitely want to explore the coastal trails of the Pedro Headlands after seeing them from up here." — scott • Mar 23, 2021
"Peak 1/31 Miles: 7.20 Time: 2:38. Elevation Gain: 1,614 ft.
Started in fog with Marissa and David and his dog Steal. Made it to the summit (what we could given no trespassing sign) in the heat and smoke." — ashep • Oct 3, 2020
"I had a pretty nice hike from Skyline, up Sweeney Ridge, down Bacquiano and Farallones trails, up Mori Point, then up Mori Ridge back to Sweeney Ridge. All in 12 miles and 2600’. Parts are steep, but not unreasonably so. There’s no shade. Earlier in spring would be best to get the wildflowers but less haze." — sareine • May 25, 2020
