"A short hangover hike today and ran into Dave and his wife in the parking lot! I’ve been stalking his hikes on Peakery for a while and BAM - here he was. So great to meet a fellow mountain enthusiast in real life. " — climbmtnsdmg • Jan 18, 2026
"Hiked solo today. The trailhead is located on the hill behind the ball field behind the Horicon Community Center. The trail is dry and steep initially. 34 minutes to the true summit which requires a short bushwack around a ledge to the treed summit. 24 minute decent.

"Fox Hill finished my Brant Lake Challenge. The other mountains involved are Bartonville, Pharaoh, and Swede. The trail starts behind the Horicon Town Hall and ends at the Moxham Mt Overlook. From there, it’s a short bushwhack to the wooded summit." — billsussdorff • Nov 4, 2025
"Hiked with brother Dean this morning. This is his first hike since getting his new knee. Trail was dry and in good shape. We took our time and enjoyed the beautiful and crisp fall morning. There was no view from the summit, but a great view of Brant Lake was enjoyed just shy of the true summit. We had the trail all to ourselves . Returned to the car at 10:03." — garyogden • Oct 8, 2024
"My first hike of the day. I came in from the Crane Road parking lot. Flat approach, then some ascent. Beautiful directional view to the west from the summit. I headed back down and went off to hike my second peak of the day." — newenglandwarrior • Sep 17, 2024
