There's a road, not shown on maps, that runs between Cerro Piedrito and Cerro Lobo that puts you right at the foot of the mountain. I accessed this road from the northside of Cerro Piedrito where there's a road junction and a gate. Roads are not named or marked which is par for the general road network with the exception of CR-42. High clearance vehicle necessary/ HC-4WD recommended.
