Hiked up here on the way to visit the grandson for birthday week. This peak is actually on the Appalachian Trail, just a short way from the White Rocks Tr. junction. Climbed up to White Rocks viewpoint on the way. Met a SB thruhiker at the Knob, then checked out the A.T. north for about 1/2 mi. before returning the same way. Hot and humid day.
