Headed across Swirral Edge from Helvellyn ariving around 12:30pm. Conditions had become more windy with strong gusts. Still in dense cloud and wet with the mist and occasional shower. Descended via north-west ridge to Keppel Cove dam. Descent was very steep and at one point I slipped and fell about 2m, my backpack catching a rock preventing me sliding down further. Arrived back at Grisedale at 2:20pm.
