Easiest access is off NM-9 onto a newly graded road at the curve in NM-9, west (Hachita) of the mountain, marked by a gate as soon as you pull off the highway. Map is not quite right as the ranch road used to access the Carrizalillo Hills from the new gravel road is a little south of the corral, accessed through a green BLM gate. Ranch road is not bad but does offer some rough spots. A border patrol truck pulling a horse trailer was able to navigate it. US-Mexico border is about a mile away.
