Carn nan Iomairean is a Marilyn on a broad grassy ridge. The Gleann Udalain hill path is clearly signposted from the road near Attadale, but sees minimal footfall so is marshy and indistinct though to be fair I did do it after torrential rain when the bracken was up. Prior to the building of the railway and the road skirting Loch Carron’s southern shore this path was the historical route between Strath Carron and Kyle/Loch Duich I guess. I broke off the path to gain the ridge and bag the north top (listed on DoBIH) which has no summit feature and sits just north of a line of old rusting fence posts. Carn nan Iomairean itself has a tiny cairn and offers views of Plockton with Skye beyond.
