With Fraser Stronach. From Invervar along the road to Carnbanemore, then went up the hillside to the wood above Carnbane Castle. We were soon into mist which was with us all day, apart from one brief moment. We went over Creag Mhor†. There are two tops, which is not apparent from the OS 1st series 1:50,000 map. The east top is the highest. On to Meall Liath, Càrn Mairg, Meall a’ Bharr (There is a cairn at the east end, which is not the top). Then Meall Garbh and Meall Luaidhe after a little searching. Next An Sgor and Carn Gorm. Down to the road and Invervar. Not much snow. †In the 1997 edition of Munro’s the name of the Munro was changed to Meall na Aighean.
