Descent to the north near Loch nan Stuirteag into Glen Geusachan, hence to Glen Dee, White Bridge and Linn of Dee. Frequent light snow showers to start with, and some mist. From 11:30 it was clear and sunny with magnificent views, especially snow covered Cairn Toul, Braerich and Ben Macdui. There was continuous snow cover above 800m, but not thick. Final part of walk in moonlight. Some step cutting necessary on descent of Monadh Mór. Some streams difficult to cross due to ice.
