From the car park at the top of Carn Lane. I descended by the lane to Carnkie to view the information panels outside the Carnkie Institute, then back up to pick up my collapsible ladder from the car. Continuing to the summit I used the ladder to scale the summit tor. A sunny day, with some broken cloud.
