The state has put in a new parking area at the trailhead, which I was unaware of. So I parked on the side of the road prior to the "Private Road" signage. The snow started to show up around 1800' and by the 2800+' summits there was about 2 feet on the ground. All in all a nice, fun showshoe/bushwhack.
