This was a nice hike with some fun people. We started at the Sloan Canyon Visitor Center and hiked through the washes to the saddle between Canine Crag & Feline Fang. We took the class 2 way up to Canine Crag and the crumbly class 3 route back to the saddle. When I got near the saddle, a big rock that I was standing on broke off from under my feet and almost took me with it. Luckily, there was nobody below me and I was able to grab and hold on to the rock behind me. The class 2 route up to Feline Fang was loose, but not too bad. We returned a slightly different way, taking a different wash so we could look at the petroglyphs. I have hiked in this area before. The loose, crumbly rock sucks, but the area is beautiful.
