This trip went very well given the fact I had almost no beta. I crossed McLead River on a snow bridge and followed it along a canyon until coming to the first big open slope. Went up this slope into the trees until reaching to a connecting ridge. 2km ridgewalk to the summit was the best part of the day although the final part required a lot of caution to avoid stepping on sizable cornices.
Lots of snow in the trees and on the summit ridge slowed me down considerably. The snow was generally supportive in the morning but I was often sinking up to my waist on the way back.
