Route through the Sierra de Mayorales in Aguilas, sunny but cool day. The track leading up to the peak is in good condition and we see lavenders and other flowering bushes as we ascend. The day is clear and we have good views of the surroundings. From
At the top we take a path towards the southwest that winds along the crest of the mountain range towards the Cabezo de la Cruz. We found some pine trees planted by locals that served as shade when they lived and worked in this mountain range. We also see some abandoned hunting posts. Now this area is protected and the birds are the queens of the place.
