Buzzard Mountain can be accessed via FS343. This is an old closed road that probably was last maintained a decade or more ago. You will have to navigate around/ over a lot of fallen trees. Parking is available almost directly across the road at FS450. Total hike is about 1.8 miles with the first mile on FS343. If you could hike this directly, and I guess you could if you were really crazy and in shape, it would be 1/3 this distance. I don't hike inclines over 30 degrees, with the longer route you will live another day to climb another summit. My new tablet does a terrible job for elevation tracking so the upload tracks are bad for that but the route is good. Total elevation gain should be around 1000 feet.

Topo maps show a benchmark at the top but I could not find one. There are a lot of small trees at the top making it a little more challenging to setup antennas. Not much of a view either. Make sure you bring a sidearm, I ran into a wild boar on the hike up, it seemed pretty timid and ran off but you never know.
