Took the north western route up past Morter Alm, through Blaue Schneid and up to the Summit. The trail was incredibly well graded. We followed a stream until just before the final assent up to Blaue Schneid, giving us lots of places to refill water. The alpine meadows were stunning, our favorite part of the hike. The final mile between Blaue Schneid and Hasenohrl was narrow with a lot of rock scrambles and cliffs on both sides. There were areas that had chain handrails screwed to the rocks to help get through. The final peak was overcast, but we still got some views down. There is an Alpine cross and log book at the summit. Best hike I’ve ever done so far.
