I had seen this the last time I was out that way & wanted to get up there. It was a short & relatively easy hike, but the views were awesome. I got good views of some other stuff I want to check out. There is a lot of cryptobiotic soil around & on this peak. Please identify & avoid it. There's lots of rocks to make avoiding it very easy. Afterward, I did a big loop through some of the pretty washes & some really neat slot canyons out there to investigate some other peaks I want to visit. Gorgeous day! West End Wash is slightly better after recent rains, but still has lots of deep gravel.
